Mary Mackiewicz
Mary Mackiewicz was born in Boston. She grew up in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and graduated from Stoughton High School, class of 1979. After high school she pursued her dream and attended Vespor George School of Art in Boston. She completed one year of art school and reluctantly had to resign due to family considerations. She graduated from Fisher College of Boston with a degree in Business Administration and worked in the restaurant business as a manager for thirty-two years. Mary is married with three children, a stepson, and has five grandchildren. Mary pursued her dream and made it a reality: George the Giant and the Flying Dragons is her first contribution to children's literature as an author and illustrator followed by Miss Debbie Duck.George the Giant
