Barbara Freeman
Barbara Freeman was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she enjoyed a happy childhood with her two sisters and four brothers. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and taught second grade. While teaching, Barbara recognized in some children a special need for emotional support, particularly those placed in foster care or whose parents were getting divorced. She returned to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to earn a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. Barbara and her husband James live in Omaha, Nebraska. They have two sons, Michael and James.
